There
are four basic resources you will use to build, enhance and optimize your Mech
Squad:
6.1. Ferrite:
The Ferrite is a highly
advanced metal, made with pure iron in opposition to the old alloys, and
enriched with iron nanocrystals which provides to the metal an incomparable
strength. Was first discovered in the ancient Earth in AD 1988 and could be
only made in a very small production. Centuries later, the Illyrians were able
to produce it by tons.
Extraordinary expensive to
manufacture, once cast cannot be easily reshaped like ordinary alloys,
requiring instead the aid of the right equipment.
The Ferrite strength is essential
for the structure of the mechs.
Acquiring Ferrite:
It is so easy to acquire
ferrite, as you will be allowed to scratch many of the enemy mechs for both:
Ferrite and Bioptics, through individual fights versus enemy squads or with the
missions.
Bioptics are highly
adaptable neural and biosynthetic network technologies using optical computing
rather than silicon.
Advanced labs grow
bioptics, also called neuroptics, in tangled masses like cotton candy. When
mushed together, the neural nets automatically link up to create multi-purpose
algorithmic technology. These lumps can be programed to function as processing
power, data storage or communication cables.
Essentials to allow the link
between the Pilots and the organic computers of their mechs through the helmet
rigs.
Acquiring Bioptics:
As the ferrite, to acquire
bioptics won’t be a trouble as long as you keep a frecuent activity defeating
enemy mechs or making missions.
6.3. Crystal:
Battle Circuits Fights.
Entering a Circuit pays you 10 Crystal and 2 Niodes immediately on entry.
And an increasing amount on every victory, getting the double crystals than the energy required on every new fight.
Scratching Common Mechs, Weapons and Equipment.
Selling those not elite gears, you will get in return some ferite, bioptics and crystal back.
6.4. Niodes:
Made with Niobium, a so
rare and valious metal, to create the most wanted technology. They looks like stainless spheres of the size of a fist.
Niodes are the enabling technology of Mecha-nized warfare. originally created by the Forerunners, they are essential to the intergalactic gate-jumping, for Mech construction and energy storage.
Most important even: Niodes are used as means of exchange recognized by every Mech-enabled world in the whole galaxy, making them specially stable and valuable.
The best quality mechs, weapons and equipment, will requier Niodes... Many Niodes.
Acquiring Niodes:
Opposite as Ferrite or
Bioptics, the Niodes are a rare resource, and there are some small ways to get
them:
Watching Videos (Hot system): Each video from the Galactic Channel you patiently view, will reward you one beam that you can scratch for one niode. (USA users can accede to the videos, remnant countries have that option disabled and shall sort.)
Leveling: You get 5 Niodes awarded by each level you raise.
Note that once you saw a video, you will probably try to watch a new one, through
the purple button "Watch another"... Avoid that button as is broken
and always will say that there are no more videos available: WRONG! There are
and you must return to the home page and enter again in the videos page to
repeat the process. This way you can watch several videos in the ranks of 50 to
100 daily if you have patience and time enough to spare.
Leveling: You get 5 Niodes awarded by each level you raise.
Rare drop at missions: There are rare times when a mission can offer to you the treasure of
some miodes.
Scratching niode technology mechs, weapons and equipment. If you happen to get any of those
in raids or fighting a mission boss, and you don’t want them as got underated
by your stronger squad and gears, you have the option to retrofeed those
components, salving a small amount of niodes to use in your own purposes.
Niode lottery
To promote pilot
development, the Galactic Senate runs a lottery for niodes.
Each pilot can enter once
per lottery session for the low cost of 10 ferrite. Every 12 hours, a name will
be drawn and allowed to claim 100 niodes for a full day to claim the prize
after he won the lottery.
If the winner is member of
a clan, every clan member can also claim 20 niodes once the winner took his
prize and while there still time for the 24 hours.
Unclaimed prizes are
recovered by the Lottery Commission.
Battle Circuits Fights.
Entering a Circuit pays you
10 Crystal and 2 Niodes immediately on entry.
Niode Raffle:
After the Clan Wars, there
is organized a Niode purchase. The buyers can accede to a raffle where
thousands of Niodes can be won by a lucky pilot who purchased niodes.
The good new is that the
simple purchase of 9 Niodes for 1 $ (sometimes the amount is even higher with
some offer) will grant a return for 50 niodes once the raffle was done. (This
is, 59 Niodes by 1 $.)
